Stephanie's Resume

In the constantly growing field of Exercise Science, Stephanie always looks to find the most current and effective techniques to bring her clients the best customized results. She adapts each client’s workout program in order to accommodate any pre-existing injuries as well as work on injury prevention. Whether you are a beginner, have had some experience, or are an elite athlete, Stephanie will fill in the blanks to get you to your next level.

Stephanie’s life mission is to help improve the lives of others using exercise as a vehicle. She does this by helping to instill a positive mindset along with providing each client with the tools needed in order to improve their quality of life. This is achieved through guided technical instruction which focuses on creating a solid physical foundation, as well as providing the motivation and accountability each client needs in order to be successful.

Along with having a BA in Exercise Science from Seattle Pacific University, Stephanie is certified through ACE (American Council on Exercise) for personal training, as well as having her American Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification. She has worked as a personal trainer in Alaska, Spokane, and the Seattle/Bellevue area since 2004. In addition to training, Stephanie has been the head volleyball coach for Lake Washington High School and Sammamish High School. At Bellevue High School, she was an assistant coach for girls volleyball, soccer, and lacrosse teams acting as a strength and conditioning coach focusing on speed and agility in young athletes.

Raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Stephanie had the unique opportunity to develop her passion for physical fitness at an early age. Along with enjoying outdoor sports such as biking, triathlons, and hiking, she also has had the pleasure of working with people of varying abilities. Some of her specialized experience includes:

  • Strength and conditioning coach for Bellevue High School soccer and lacrosse teams as well as the Mercer Island Jr. High lacrosse team in 2006-2007
  • Intern for two Physical Therapy Clinics (A.P.T.A.K. in Anchorage, AK and APEX in Spokane, WA)
  • Coaches 3rd through 12th grade v-ball players and conducts skills camps since 2002

  • Participated in and won first and third in the Ms. Service high school bodybuilding competition in 2003-2004

Andrew loves his clients and is passionate about helping them reach their goals. His greatest aspiration is seeing his clients succeed by living a more positive, healthy lifestyle. Your life is a story, and Andrew is here to help you take it to the next chapter. With Andrew’s help in 2009, his client, David, lost 60lbs in 7 months and took back control of his life. As an individual struggling with his weight, David recognized his need to change his way of life and sought Andrew’s help. Together, through Andrew’s motivational approach and deep knowledge, David was inspired to take command and make the needed changes. Though it seemed unobtainable to achieve at the time, through Andrew’s guidance and support, they exceeded their expectations.

It’s never easy to change unhealthy patterns. Andrew’s consistency will help cement healthy habits. It creates a strong foundation, which clients may build upon throughout their lives.

Andrew's resume

Andrew Hutt is a certified personal trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). He has been a fitness professional since 2008, and currently holds a certification as a NASM CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) and NASM PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist). He was employed as a trainer at Mieko’s Fitness in Edmonds for 3 years, working with clientelle ranging in age from 7 to 82. For the past two years, he has been doing in-home personal training in the Seattle area. As a high school athlete, Andrew was very involved in baseball, playing alongside current professional athletes, and attended the Junior Olympic trials in Tuscon Arizona. Andrew was a 4 year letterman in baseball and earned many honors.

After high school, Andrew went on to play baseball at Everett Community College and studied Kinisiology and Business. Andrew was the the trainer/assistant coach for the Edmonds Woodway Baseball Team. He is currently the strength/conditioning trainer for the Shoreline Community College Baseball team and works as the strength and conditioning trainer for O’Brien Baseball, a select summer baseball program.

Andrew focuses on catering each session to fit YOUR immediate needs and longterm goals. He has had many years of experience modifying exercises for elite athletes through post rehab patients. He looks forward to working with all abilities, and appreciates the specific needs each client presents.
